The Howl recorded this weekend with Roger Lavallee in a old Church in Rochdale MA. The acoustics and the vibe of the place were outstanding. High wood ceilings, big open spaces, stained glass and the left over Christmas pageant decorations made everything sound cool. I look forward to sharing with you all the results from the session. I believe we got about 4 songs tracked and we will be mixing them over the coming weeks.
As you might already know, I have a solo project I call Tripleplus Feelgood. There are some updates over there as well as a bunch of music you can listen to.
Make the logo big.
Make the logo bigger.
Make the logo big.
Make the logo bigger.
Chorus
Make the logo as big as you can.
And make the logo bigger.
That logo isn't big enough.
So, make the logo bigger.
Bigger, bigger, make it big.
Make the logo bigger.
Chorus
Make the logo as big as you can.
And make the logo bigger.
Yelling
Don't try to be the brave guy!
We don't have a job for you!
You know what you've got to do!
You gotta stick to the process!
Make the damn logo as big as you can!
Chorus
Make the logo as big as you can.
And make the logo bigger.
I don't want to tell you how to do your job.
But, could you make the logo bigger?
Bigger, bigger, make it big.
Make the logo bigger.
Chorus
Make the logo as big as you can.
And make the logo bigger.
In addition to a full summer of playing some great shows with The Curtain Society, The Howl and all of the great guests at The Dive Bar Thursday Music Series, here are some things that have been happening lately:
www.worcesterite.com is still moving along, growing faster than it has in years. I am hoping that with this growth comes more interaction among visitors, better connections and ultimately more people taking part in the Worcester cultural community. This summer brought back the Worcesterite Networking Mixer, a monthly meetup for musicians and creative types in Worcester.
Our Song Two Wonderful Stars is played on episodes 2 & 6. I now have an excuse as to why I am watching the show!
Pangea Media has launched our latest quiz site MyCareerQuizzes.com, featuring (as you might expect) career quizzes. I designed the format, and once again, the technology folks at Pangea made it work.
The Howl, a new band that I am playing drums in, has a new website called www.churchofthehowl.com, which I built in Wordpress. It's lean, but slowly getting filled up with content as we grow. For now, you can go there to listen to some tunes, and to find out when and where we are playing. Come out and see us and check out the latest poster I did for The Howl.
You can visit the gallery on this site to see screens of these sites and others.
Here are a few sites I am developing but are not yet done, if you would like to keep an eye on them.
I like robots, not as much as my buddy Chris, but I do like them. Chris suggested after seeing www.monkeysdoingstuff.com that I make a similar site for robots that he and I could fill up with stuff. I bring you www.robotsdoingstuff.com
